The Scottish Poetry Library is an independent charity: we’re not part of the National Library of Scotland or Edinburgh Libraries. We receive some of our funding from Creative Scotland and Edinburgh Council, but we rely on donations to fully operate. Our Friends and donors help us to collect, conserve and share poetry with everyone. We offer a range of benefits to Friends, but all donations help our work. For example, £10 helps us to provide resources for schools; £25 buys 4 books for our lending collection; £50 subsidises two workshop places for community groups.
