Saturday Library Services

About me: Born over there in the Royal Infirmary, got an art degree in Reading then  made things in London whilst I worked at the Royal Academy.

Recently translated some writings by Victor Segalen including a libretto Debussy demurred at; to be published later this year. Thinking about what needs a translation next…

Contact me about Saturday ideas and inquiries.

A fine line: My wife/ thinks I’m in Oslo— but I don’t have a wife.

Some favourite poetry books: Francois Villon, translated Galway Kinnell; Gaspard de la Nuit by Aloysius Bertrand; Children of Albion, edited Michael Horovitz; More Latin Lyrics, translated by Helen Waddell; Matthias at the Door by Edwin Arlington Robinson; Calligrammes by Guillaume Apollinaire, translated  Anne Hyde Greet; The Lost Lunar Baedeker by Mina Loy; Georgics of Virgil, translated L.P Wilkinson.

When not at work I may still be found in a nook, with a book; a ponderous look…
