Learning & Engagement Co-ordinator
About me I grew up in Edinburgh and now live in Dunbar. I graduated in English and Education with Commonwealth Literature from the University of Stirling in 2002 and spent several years teaching English in secondary school. In 2013, I founded CoastWord, an annual festival of music and words, and was Scottish Book Trust’s Reader in Residence for East Lothian in 2014-2015. I am also a poet and performer and was recently awarded a Megaphone Residency by The Workers’ Theatre for my Spoken Word Show, The Drift.
Contact me about My role is to support individuals, groups and organisations in their engagement with the library but also through outreach projects. I am always keen to have conversations, so please get in touch if you want to discuss how we may support your group, or organisation and also, how we may work together to improve accessibility, enjoyment and participation.
