Juke Box Jeopardy by Brian Johnstone
Brian Johnstone was born in Edinburgh and has lived in Fife since 1972 where has been variously a primary school teacher, festival director of StAnza, and of course, a writer of poetry. Along with his various collections and pamphlets, he also published his memoir Double Exposure with Saraband in 2017.
Jukebox Jeopardy is conceived as a compilation album of truth and fantasy, stories and imaginings, wishes and hopes. A top twnety that charts a boy’s stumbling path through the pop, rock andmore of the ’50s, ’60s and early ’70s
From Elvis to Ivan, from Dusty to Sandy, from The Beatles to Incredibles, from Skiffle to Prog, no Stone is left unturned in this Genesis of a devotee.
