Poetry Print no.3: Tessa Ransford Limited edition, hand made poetry prints with FREE POSTAGE
To celebrate our 40th anniversary, we’ve partnered with the team at the National Trust for Scotland to create these exclusive poetry prints that have been hand designed and printed by the experts at Robert Smail’s Printing Works in Innerleithen. Limited print runs of 30 copies of each poetry print will be released throughout 2024.
- printed letterpress on GF Smith Colourplan Natural 170gsm paper
- printed on a hand-fed Wharfedale Reliance stop cylinder press, c.1880s. These machines were made in Otley in West Yorkshire. Smail’s machine was used to print the local newspaper from 1893 to 1916, as well as posters and broadsides.
- the typefaces are Old Style, Devinne & Chatsworth

Each print measures 420mm x 295mm (A3) Prints will be supplied unframed and posted in a protective cardboard tube (all included in price).
