Kate's found-poetry pamphlet, tilt-shift (Tapsalteerie, 2016), was included in The Bottle Imp’s ‘Best Scottish Books 2016’. Her novel, Head for the Edge, Keep Walking (Cargo/Freight, 2014) has five stars on Amazon. She’s fulfilled two poetry residencies, at Vermont Studio Center and Cove Park, and received three Creative Scotland funding awards (for fiction and poetry). Previously, Kate coached new writers in many settings and, currently, she’s a literacy volunteer and chairs festival events. She gained a Masters in Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow.
