The Mankit Deuk

Keeks Mc

Ah thocht that if Ah thocht it
Ah kid maun it
A wummin walds her ain destiny daes she no?
Ma schame wis verra simple
- catastrophise
Gae tae the wurst case scenario
Def con wan
internally obviously
No sae onywan kid tell
like a deuk sweemin
leukin lown, but wi fast wee feet
If Ah weened the wurst
Ah'd aither be doucely surpreesed
or prepared
Ah thocht it wurked fur years
Til Ah realeesed it disnae
juist thare
whan we tried it thegether
Wir gae tae
Wir fail safe
Whit a shock we baith got
whan it sunk in
ye wir unraivilin
an thare wis sweet Fanny Adams
aither o us kid dae
Wan meenit yer gaein tae tae tae
wi the bastardin ill
an the next meenit ye've shut yer een fur the last time
an we didnae e'en tak it in
Ah willed a miracle
wi ivry last oonce o strength Ah haed
but nane cam
an Ah still cannae see it's real
Aa Ah ken noo, are twa things
Ah'm pouerless tae fate
an whauriver Ah'm ultimately gaein
ye'll be thare tae
sae why fash?
Ah'll be rollin wi the dice o destiny fae here
