Hoy Sound

Heather H. Yeung

A version of Yeung’s Hoy Sound kennings poem, inscribed as fragments over nine card mounts, each containing a small cyanotype print. When held to a light source the prints reveal the individually typeset names of the ‘billow maidens’, the nine daughters of Ægir and Rán who, according to Norse myth, embody ocean waves. Move the sliders to reveal the text.
