Here he comes – running through the station
After the match. Small boy, big yellow flag.
Watch him! He’s a hero!
There’s a lion dancing at his heels,
He’s a hop, skip, whoop
In all that might be possible
This game, next game,
This life, his.
Listen and you’ll hear the lion
Roaring him on.
