People are milling now rather than standing, moving away from their focal point, quiet. You find out that he was twenty-five and that his friends thought he was fucking around. He was having a heart attack, a massive coronary. It’s three-thirty in the morning.”

Venice is a film by DISSIMILAR and was shot on Kodachrome Super8, in the Veneto and in Croatia. DISSIMILAR shoot exclusively on miniDV and Super8, using real-time raw footage to build suspense, harnessing the low-fi elements of these film formats to produce distinct and impressive free-budget films.
