Elizabeth Burns, Kevin Williamson & Michael Pederson

January 2011

Elizabeth Burns

In a bumper packed edition of the podcast, we present the wonderful Elizabeth Burns reading from her recent collection Held which was launched at the SPL last year. We also chat to legendary publisher, poet, novelist, cosmologist, editor Kevin Williamson and poet, script doctor, ex-exile Michael Pedersen, organisers of new Edinburgh poetry night, Neu! Reekie! Also featuring a track from Michael Pedersen and Craig Finnie.

Presented by Ryan Van Winkle. Produced by Colin Fraser.

About Neu! Reekie!

‘Neu! Reekie! is the very visceral meeting of avant-garde poetry and film. The night promises to shock and stun, playing host to the abstract and abstruse, the sinister and sanguine. We’ll be ruffling feathers from 2011 onwards. The first event is on Friday 21 January at 7pm.’

First published Sunday 16 January, 2011
