National Poetry Day 2018

Translate: EN | GD
English

We are the lead agency in Scotland for National Poetry Day. From 1999, National Poetry Day has been themed by Forward Arts Foundation; this year’s theme of ‘change’ was meant to kickstart inspiration rather than be prescriptive.

Gaelic

On this page you’ll find links to the NPD 2018 poems, to our postcards and posters, our teaching notes, and more. Two of the poems celebrate the Gaelic Books Council‘s 50th anniversary this year. If you’d like to keep up-to-date with our NPD resources, you can sign up to our mailing list here.
