Join fellow writers of colour in Scotland for a two hour writing workshop at the Scottish Poetry Library. This group will serve as a relaxed space to write, connect with one another and share your writing. We’re excited to share that this November, the workshop will be facilitated by poet and critic Theresa Muñoz!
Theresa Muñoz was born in Vancouver, Canada to Filipino parents and now makes her home in Edinburgh. She won a British Columbia Arts Council Award and has been a prizewinner in the McClellan and Troubadour poetry competitions. In 2018 she was a recipient of the Muriel Spark Centenary award, and wrote a sequence of poems based on material in Spark’s archive in the National Library of Scotland. In the same year she was awarded a Robert Louis Stevenson Fellowship.
This group is open to writers of colour who currently live in Scotland. Please note due to the limited space the workshop will be limited to fifteen spaces.
