Marco Fazzini and Gerda Stevenson read their poetry in English and Italian, covering both their recent and past productions and highlighting their relationship with places, people, political and historical events, travel and music.
Marco Fazzini is a poet, critic and translator. He is the editor of the first history of Scottish literature published outside Scotland: Alba Literaria (2005). He teaches English and Post-colonial Literatures at the University of Ca’ Foscari (Venice) and is Artistic Director of the festival “Poetry Vicenza”.
Gerda Stevenson is a widely published writer, actor, director, singer-songwriter, working in theatre, radio, TV, opera and film, throughout Britain and abroad. Her poetry collection If This Were Real (Smokestack Books, 2013), was published in Italian, Se questo fosse vero (Edizioni Ensemble, Rome, 2017); she is also the author of Quines: Poems in tribute to women of Scotland (Luath Press, 2018).
