Some donations are extraordinary, none more so than the ‘Poetree’, gifted by its maker to the SPL in 2011.

The Scottish Poetry Library exists for everyone, and would not do so quite as successfully without the generosity of donors.

Donations help us to deliver our mission to bring people and poems together. Donations also help us to create, curate and collect poetry for communities everywhere, both online and in person, as the world’s leading resource for Scottish poetry.

We exist to be welcoming, compassionate, and transform lives through poetry. Donors help us do that, and we thank you.

Gaelic

Tha Leabharlann Bàrdachd na h-Alba ann airson a h-uile duine, agus cha bhiodh e leth cho soirbheachail gun taic fhialaidh nan tabhairtear.

Bidh tabhartasan a’ cumail taic rinn agus sinn a’ strì airson daoine agus dàin a thoirt còmhla. Bidh tabhartasan cuideachd gar cuideachadh ann a bhith a’ cruthachadh agus a’ cruinneachadh bàrdachd airson coimhearsnachdan anns gach àite, an dà chuid air-loidhne agus gu pearsanta, agus ann a bhith nar goireas air leth airson bàrdachd na h-Alba. Tha sinn ann airson a bhith aoigheil, truasail, agus airson beatha dhaoine  atharrachadh tro bhàrdachd. Bidh tabhairtearan a’ cumail taic rinn airson sin a dhèanamh, agus tha sinn nur comain. Tapadh leibh.
