Digital Collections

Here at the Scottish Poetry Library we have a wonderful archive of artists’ books, visual poetry, poem-objects and other innovative poetic works, which extend the tradition established by avant-garde poets Edwin Morgan and Ian Hamilton Finlay. We have digitised a small selection of archive items by notable contemporary Scottish practitioners, Thomas A. Clark, Julie Johnstone and Heather H. Yeung, which you can explore below.

To view the originals, and more from the archive, pop in to make an appointment or ask a Librarian.

This project has been a completed in collaboration with Dr Eleanore Widger at the University of Dundee, with support from the National Productivity Investment Fund, the Arts and Humanities Research Council, the Scottish Graduate School for Arts and Humanities, and the Centre for Poetic Innovation at the Universities of Dundee and St Andrews.
