The SPL Christmas Raffle

12 December 2017

Scottish Poetry Library

Roll up! Roll up! Get your tickets for the SPL raffle!

Ahead of our Discount Xmas Shopping Night on Thursday, 14 December (between 6pm and 9pm), we’re holding a raffle with some fantastic prizes. All money goes to helping to support the SPL.

There are three themed raffle prizes:

The main prize features: a set of poetry pamphlets; books by Muriel Spark, Jackie Kay and Carol Ann Duffy; a selection of merchandise unique to the SPL; fudge; a bottle of wine; a copy of Gifted, a ravishing photographic guide to the mysterious book sculptures with an accompanying set of postcards and map; and a set postcards with map and a £20 voucher from Cranachan and Crowdie. That’s pretty good! Practically a poetry hamper.

The two runner up prizes include: a signed copy of a Carol Ann Duffy book; more mystery poetry titles; a collection of pamphlets; a copy of Gifted; and a map and set of postcards.

Tickets cost £1 and you can buy as many as you like. Although the Discount Xmas Shopping Night is on Thursday, you have until 4pm ON SATURDAY, 16 DECEMBER, to enter in person by coming to the SPL and buying a raffle ticket.

The SPL would like to thank the following for their generosity in supplying the raffle prizes.

Cranachan and Crowdie
Candlestick Press
Faber & Faber
Picador @ PanMacmillan
Carcanet
The Fudge Kitchen
Cadenhead's Whisky

At the Discount Xmas Shopping Night, there will be wine, soft drinks, mince pies and music to keep you entertained while you browse our small but perfectly formed shop for some lovely presents. You’ll have the chance to enter our raffle to win some lovely SPL literary goodies, and there will be an extra bonus surprise on the night. 10 percent off everything except sale stock, and an extra 10 percent off for current Friends of the SPL.
