This anthology of works is as attractive to look at as it is to read. Unlike other bi-lingual collections, the Gaelic poems are not ‘translated’: rather, poets with no knowledge of Gaelic have responded to literal translations, giving life to the dialogue of Scottish poetry in both languages.
