Biography
Summary
Born in Glasgow and a member of the generation of Glasgow writers who came to prominence in the 1970s, Tom Buchan was a poet and playwright of restless energy. He was closely associated with the Iona Community and later Findhorn, taught in India for a year, taught in Scotland and directed festivals, and was an editor of Scottish International. His poetry collections include Dolphins at Cochin (Cresset Press, 1969) and Poems 1969- 72 (Poni Press, 1972).
