Biography

Summary

Nalini Paul was born in India and raised in Vancouver. She moved to Scotland in 1993 to study Philosophy and English Literature at Edinburgh University. Nalini’s poetry has been published in various magazines, including Poetry Scotland, Cutting Teeth, GroundSwell Magazine, Poetry Now and The Glasgow Seeker. Other projects include Leaf Fall, an exhibition of poetry and art at the Tramway, The Mitchell Library and the Glasgow Women’s Library which took place over 2004-5. Nalini spent a year in Orkney as the George Mackay Brown Writing Fellow, which inspired her 2010 collection Slokt by Sea (Red Squirrel Press).
