Mark Thomson performs his street poetry at poetry slams and festivals. He left working on a building site to write poetry, and formed the street poetry partnership Tribal Tongues in Dundee with Gary robertson. He now leads creative writing groups and runs literacy workshops. His first collection, bard fae thi buildin site (Luath), was written in his 'mither tongue' and celebrates all things Dunonian, as well as tackling serious social issues.
