Lise Sinclair lives in Fair Isle, the remote island midway between Shetland and Orkney, where she was born and brought up. She is a poet, musician and singer, sets poetry to music, teaches music and performs nationally and internationally. Her poetry has appeared in various publications and been translated into several European languages. Her published works include White Below (2010), and, Ivver Entrancin Wis (Shetland Music, 2008), a CD of Shetland poetry by various poets set to music by her for cello, harp, viola and voice.
