Summary

Hazel Cameron is the author of five poetry pamphlets, including the joint winner of the 2008 Callum Macdonald Memorial Award, and she administered the Scottish Pamphlet Poetry website for 10 years.  

Full Biography

Hazel Buchan Cameron was born and brought up in Renfrewshire. At  eighteen she moved to Perthshire where she brought up her family and worked as a farm secretary. After six years in Yorkshire, she returned with her partner to live near Comrie, Perthshire. Hazel administered the Scottish Pamphlet Poetry website for 10 years. She is the author of five poetry pamphlets including The Currying Shop (2007), which was joint winner of the Callum Macdonald Memorial Award in 2008.  Red Squirrel Press published her collection Finding IKEA (2010) and will bring out a full collection in 2016. She is currently Writer in Residence for the Royal Scottish Geographic Society.
