Gill Andrews was shortlisted for the 2010 Picador Poetry Prize, and won the 2008 Frogmore Prize.  In 2010, she was awarded a distinction in her Masters degree in Creative Writing (Poetry) at St. Andrews University. A lawyer by profession, Gill worked for many years in the City of London.  She now lives in Edinburgh.
