Elizabeth Rimmer was born and raised in Liverpool and moved to Scotland in 1977. Her work is inspired by weather, landscape and tradition, the work of craftsmen, gardeners, foresters and musicians, and by language, legends and heritage. Her work has appeared in Poetry Scotland, Northwords Now, Gutter and Brittle Star. Her first collection of poems, Wherever We Live Now, was published by Red Squirrel Press in 2011.
