The Parlour Guide to Exo-Politics

at Old Leith Theatre

Poet Rachel Plummer is joining forces with the acclaimed Scottish Clarinet Quartet to deliver a vintage sci-fi themed, multi-media performance on the subject of contact with alien life. Featuring experimental film by award winning film maker Matt Hulse and original music by internationally recognised composer Matt Rogers, woven in between spoken word narrative, The Parlour Guide to Exo-Politics explores themes of migration, belonging and otherness through mediums of language, sound and light. It will challenge your view of the universe and your own place in it.
